Hello Folks, Just got a puzzling issue here. Upon first time login of my laptop, I checked the System properties and it was Windows 8.0, Limited 2 point touch support enabled. I performed a Windows update and upgraded to Windows 8.1 Pro and now it tells that 'No Tablet or Touch input available ' Now, I checked with ASUS Tech and she said that I must locate and Enable the HID Compliant device which I am unable to locate under Device manager: Here's what the Rep instructed me to do via email. Device manager--->mice and other pointing devices--->HID-compliant device(double click)--->details--->hardware ids in property--->PID: 8417or 8418--->Return to the previous interface(HID-compliant device)--->right button--->enable There are four differents HID-compliant device in your computer, so please search for the correct PID (8417or 8418) in HID-compliant device. Now I am not sure if my laptop supports or really does not have the touchscreen feature enabled. I just need clarification and assistance with this.

Not able to see 1 HID Device for Touchscreen device in Device Manager. Tried to update each of items listed under HID devices and none of them worked. Funny thing is, the Tablet and Pen Settings option in Control Panel is not available. So I created a shortcut icon for this using notepad and I was able to launch it. However, when I clicked on Pen And Touch > Go To Pen and Touch >Configure your Pen and Touch Settings, I was getting the error below: ' Tablet and Pen Settings Unavailable. For assistance Contact the manufacturer of your Tablet Computer ( error=0 ) ' Option to Calibrate the Display under Display options is Greyed out as well.
