Hi everyone, I have a problem with my hue+, I installed it yesterday and unfortunately I 've never seen it work. I check the connections 3 times, all LED strips are well connected to the hue+, the white arrow are aligned to the black edge of the strips. The USB is connected to the motherboard via a USB 2.0 port and the power supply is connected to a molex plug that works well. The white LED lights of the hue+ light properly, but CAM didn't detect my hue+.
I installed the version 3.0.4 and the 2.1.8 of CAM, but nothing works. I thought a firmware issue but I can not find how to update mine. Can anyone help me? Thank you very much:) • • • • •. I went into device manager too, but all my usb device look to work properly. My hue+ is connected to the 'usb 1112' port (I try to connect it on another one port but nothing change) on my motherboard, how can I find the right usb devine for this port?
I search into 'Device and printer' and I found something that I never seen before, called 'MCP2200 USB Serial port emulator'. So I unpluged my hue+ and restart my computer.
Then the mcp2200 didn't appear anymore. I plug the usb port into my hue+ again and then the mcp2200 get back and CAM detect my hue+.
But nothing had change, my led strips doesn't light and I nothing that I can manage on Cam can change that.
